Hyaluronic acid

What is hyaluronic acid?
  • Hyaluronic Acid is a sugar formed by two molecules (disaccharide) and one of Nitrogen, (Polyaminoglycan) that we have all the species of living beings in the body in a natural way.
  • It is found in connective tissues such as the skin, cartilage, vitreous humor, etc. It acts as a moisturizer by attracting and fixing water molecules that give the skin its elasticity and toning, along with collagen and elastin.
  • Hyaluronic Acid is different from other polysaccharides because they do not have a defined shape, but rather they form meshes that are responsible for retaining large amounts of water.
  • As we age, the skin begins to produce less Hyaluronic Acid, so that it becomes a drier and thinner skin. Wrinkles and grooves may start to appear.
  • The application of creams with Hyaluronic Acid can obtain a short-term effect but they do not achieve real hydration in depth, which is where it is really needed. So the treatment with facial fillers.

We offer the innovative technique in Facial Aesthetics: Hyaluronic Acid

Properties of Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a substance that is found naturally in many tissues in our body. However, with aging it decreases considerably and, as a consequence, the skin loses hydration and therefore elasticity and firmness.

  • HYDRATION: Able to maintain up to 1000 times its molecular weight in water. Hyaluronic Acid penetrates the skin and joins the skin's cells with water, infusing all layers of the skin with valuable rejuvenating moisture
  • MOISTURIZER: After giving the epidermis that moisture, Hyaluronic Acid continues to control the humidity of the surrounding environment to provide long-lasting hydration benefits. .
  • STRENGTHENS ALS NATURAL SKIN BARRIERS: Hyaluronic Acid strengthens the skin's natural barriers to block moisture, thus achieving an even greater moisturizing effect.
  • IMPROVES NATURAL SKIN BARRIERS: Hyaluronic Acid improves skin's natural Barriers against external factors, both environmental and polluting. .
  • TERTER SKIN: As it fills the skin with moisture, Hyaluronic Acid tightens the complexion overall and firms facial contours for a more youthful appearance.
  • SMOOTHER TEXTURE: Just as it smooths the skin, it also softens the texture of the skin for a smooth, silky finish that you can see and feel to the touch
  • ACTIVATES COLLAGEN AND ELASTIN: Hyaluronic Acid reduces the size and visibility of fine lines and deeper wrinkles by stimulating skin cells that produce collagen and elastic, two fibers that contribute to skin elasticity
  • CELL REGENERATION: Hyaluronic Acid stimulates the production of collagen, promotes cellular regeneration of the skin to create healthy and vibrant skin.
  • PIGMENTATION: Hyaluronic Acid has the ability to reduce and prevent age spots and pigmentation problems. Your skin looks much more beautiful and flawless
  • BALANCE: Hyaluronic Acid prevents overproduction of oil that clogs pores and leads to breakouts or acne breakouts, balancing adequate moisture on the skin.

Areas that we treat with Hyaluronic Acid

  1. NASOGENIAN GROOVE: It is one of the first signs of facial aging. They are wrinkles that occur from the end of the wing of the nose and that descend to the ends of the mouth. In people who laugh and gesticulate a lot, they tend to mark more. As the years pass, the loss of support is lost and sagging occurs, especially on the cheeks, which accentuate them more. The nasogenian suscos, together with the lowering of the lip corners, give an appearance of aging and sadness to the face that is not usually consistent with the personality of my patients. The best treatment for them is to fill them with small injections of Hyaluronic Acid, reabsorbable and biocompatible 100% with our body. It will provide us with great hydration, volume and thus be able to eliminate wrinkles that age us so much.
  2. PUPPET LINES: appear at the corner of the lips, drawing a descending line on both sides of the chin. They are a sign of aging whose evolution is mainly influenced by 3 factors:
    1. Genetic heritage
    2. Pass of the time
    3. Solar exposition.
  3. BAR CODE: are those fine wrinkles that appear around the lips giving that unsightly and aging appearance to our smile. The passage of time and the consequent loss of collagen, elastin and HA from the skin cause the appearance of wrinkles.
  4. LIPS: some of the advantages obtained when performing a lip treatment with HA are: an increase in volume, a more hydrated and revitalized lip with a natural and juicy appearance, and a more defined and youthful contouring
  5. MANDIBULAR ARCH: Consists of filling and increasing the mandibular angles to either accentuate the man's features or to mark the mandibular arch and bring harmony to the female face. A retracted chin can cause distortion of the facial area and the contour of the mouth, in addition to eliminating the depth that exists in our neck. HA is used to give volume to the chin in a natural and attractive way, helping to regain its facial aesthetics.

Frequent questions Hyaluronic acid

The treatment consists of small micro injections in the skin to be able to introduce the HA gel into the dermis and thus be able to fill and hydrate the wrinkle. Nothing hurts since we use anesthesia as if it were a dental treatment.

The treatment times are individual for each person and vary depending on the amount of material you need to reach the desired results.

It will be the doctor once the diagnosis has been made who can explain the exact times of the treatment, although it usually does not last more than 1 hour.

Results can be seen immediately and can last from 6 to 12 months. It will depend on the amount of product used and the speed with which your body reabsorbs the product and habits (tobacco, drinking water and sunbathing).

As we age, the skin renews more slowly and produces less HA, collagen, and elastic, so the skin becomes thinner and wrinkles and grooves can begin to appear.

They are temporary gels that we inject at the dermis level to provide deep hydration to the skin.

HA is integrated into the deeper skin layers and thus captures water and recovers volume.

These results can last from 6 to 12 months, then your body will gradually disintegrate the filler and reabsorb it.

To prepare the skin before performing the Hyaluronic Acid injection, or any type of treatment, two points must be taken into account:
  1. Avoid sun exposure and not drink alcohol the day before or the day of treatment.
  2. For three days before "D" day, you cannot take aspirin.
Rejuvenates the skin

In the aging of the skin there is a significant loss of hydration, with Hyaluronic Acid being the main molecule involved in it. Therefore, Hyaluronic Acid helps us to provide hydration and elasticity to the skin and thus improve its appearance.
